A Fort Worth Girl with a Pirate’s Heart
Laura Wetsel is a Fort Worth-born actor, singer, and voice over artist based in the DFW metroplex.
She got her start on the Casa Mañana stage as a child and has continued to perform there throughout her career. A graduate of Abilene Christian University (BFA), Laura began her voice over journey before her first semester of college, singing the closing theme for the anime series Sasami Magical Girls Club. That led to a lasting relationship with FUNimation and roles across a wide range of beloved titles — most notably as the English voice of Jewelry Bonney.
From Casa Mañana to the recording booth to stages across the country, Laura brings the same warmth and commitment to every performance.
Laura's first tour was the National Tour of Seussical the Musical as Gertrude McFuzz, one of her favorite one-feathered friends.
